Summary:

Recommended : Lego seem to have listened to fans and is offering unique and collectable figures even with the smallest of sets. Unlike the earlier 2008 release of the Spider Droid this set comes with clones, droids AND a very cool Jedi Minifigure, Jedi Master Stass Allie, who is hard to find in other sets.

Overall: This set is good value for money and kids will appreciate the balance of "good and bad" figures.

The LEGO 2013 Homing Spider Droid , Set 75016 is a new Star Wars LEGO set, part of the Summer 2013 releases.

The Spider Droid has been made into a Lego set previously in 2008 as part of set 7681. The Droid is a part of the Separatist attack force and first featured in Star Wars Episode Two Attack Of The Clones, in the Battle of Geonosis. It was then heavily featured as part of the ongoing Clone Wars animated series.

The OG-9 Homing Spider Droid was built by the Commerce Guild and it’s large, bulbous central body contained a volatile reactor that would explode violently if it was hit too many times by enemy fire.

Lets take a look at the set:
