Lego Giveaway! – Australian National Lego Building Competition

National Lego Building CompetitionThe search for Australia’s National Lego Building Champion is hotting up with only a few weeks left for young designers to submit their entries.

As we are in the middle of school holidays in Australia, this is the perfect time to get young Lego aficionados designing and creating their ultimate Lego model for the competition.

The competition closes on 30th of April and requires kids to design and build an original Lego creation, take a photo of their model and hand 2 copies of the photo in to a participating Toyworld store with their name and details.

Additional details and specific entry requirements can be found on our  National Lego Building Competition page. Don’t forget to come back and check out our giveaway below.

my son is busy playing with his Lego as i type. he is Lego mad, and will enter the building comp very soon, still working on some builds. He is quite fixated with building cranes right now! helicopters are another big favourite!

Imagine Mum and Dads delight when the Easter Bunny left me Lego rather than eggs this year. I was pretty happy too. It’s been a Happy Lego Easter. Will (4 y o)

My son absolutely loves lego and builds new models daily. Currently we are into castles and any form of plane. This makes for some interesting battles between to two.

My 5yo loves Lego and he’s off to a session today at the Docklands education centre (Melbourne) – so excited! Great weekly updates cheers!

We have several lego builders in our home, the oldest (Daddy) is into the star wars large models, closely followed by Mr 12 who is following in Daddy’s footsteps, Miss 6 is just getting into the more girly range of Lego, Mr 4 has just graduated from Duplo and is loving the smaller creations he can make while having more room to move around and more pieces to create with, Mr 21 months is loving the duplo, even more so now that he doesn’t have to fight the older siblings for them. This mummy loves getting in and helping create with all of them, there is something magical about being part of their creative play, even if it is structured like building specific things.

With 2 brothers in my family we love lego!! I just had an awesome Lego party for my 6th Birthday last week – it was so much fun and my dad even hung up all our flying lego creations with fishing line from our ceiling!! From Noah

My 9 yr old loves Lego. He just finished the last of his Xmas presents, Ninjago Fire Temple all by himself, took three nights to complete. This is a great Lego set, well worth buying from amazon. I bought this and about 8 other Lego sets from amazon France after discovering this website and reading all about the great Amazon Lego deals. Thanks Brick life.

My brother and I like Lego and I like building big things like my big giant boat (which is also very fragile) and my giant crystal factory (which has lots of mechanisms). My brother can build heaps of big things and he has way more Lego than me because he is older.

My son is Lego crazy. In particular Hero Factory. He loves after building the sets to then pull then apart and build his own creations. He found the witch doctor challenging which is where Dad stepped in to help. Dad likes the Technic which he had as a child and now builds with our son the Lego sets he had as a boy plus has bought the giant Technic excavator set for a winter weekend project, father and son.
    Lego is great.

  10. John says:

Today my 11yr old daughter pulled apart and rebuilt one of her big Lego houses. The sets that have three models in one. Great value.
She worked for about three hours to build the house. Sure beats tv and video games.
My boy worked on rebuilding one of his old space police sets that Dad spent time finding all the pieces for since they all got mixed in with other sets that broke as he played with them.
All up a lovely Lego Sunday.
