The new Lego Star Wars Summer 2012 sets are starting to appear in retail stores in Australia.
Just in time for the upcoming Mid-Year sales these sets are showing up in Myer stores around the country.
I went into my local Myer CBD store today and found most of the sets being unpacked on a trolley. Noticeable absences were the Gungan Sub, Sith Fury Class Interceptor, Malevolence and Pre Vizula’s Mandalorian Fighter sets. I am hoping these were just out the back, waiting their turn to be shelved.
If you are in Australia check out your local Myer store tomorrow (31 May) as they are having a 20% off toy-sale.
Considering these Star Wars sets are brand new and not out in most corners of the globe we are very blessed to have them in our little neck of the woods!
Needless to say I will be there, picking up Jabba’s Palace 🙂
You can see a gallery of the images I took today below.

Another awesome post. I’m dying to get my hands on the Fury Class Interceptor. It’s a great design, and we’re getting all new minifigs. I really hope they come out soon!
How much did Jabba’s Palace cost?
Retail in Australia is $199.
I’d be on the lookout for a sale at Myer or KMART.
Also check out SHop4 Me.com as they often have sales but the you would add on postage of course.
B&N might be an overseas option but we’ll have to wait a while for them to turn up.
I’ll keep you posted.
cheers
