My son has introduced me to some inspiring Lego videos on the Internet.
Rather than being advertisements for the different sets and products these little movies or demonstration videos inspire my son to create greater and more ambitious designs with his Lego.
I have included a number of the best Lego videos below and will add more as we find them.
1. World’s Largest LEGO Great Ball Contraption at LW 2011
A number of AFOLs (Adult fans Of Lego) got together at Lego World 2011 to create this contraption.
Each builder contributed a number of separate elements and they joined it together on the day, to make a world record breaking ball mover.
2. Rymdreglage – 8-bit trip
Lego animation set to music with an 8-bit (think Commodore 64) computer theme in both music and images.
3. LEGO Pop-up Kinkaku-ji
Its a little slow and the music is irritating, but you have to admire the engineering that went into this creation. Awe inspiring!
4. The Fastest and Funniest LEGO Star Wars Story Ever Told
For the Star Wars Fans out there. Not sure who created this video but it is a wonderful example of very high quality Lego animation and digital production.
