Lego Friends Sets – The Brick Life

The 2013 Lego Friends Sets continue the theme’s diverse focus and colorful design sense.

While the last wave for 2012 seemed to focus on Horse related buildings and accessories, the first wave for 2013 seems to have no uniting theme, choosing to cover alot of interests. Presumably this approach is to gauge where the Friends theme will head into the future.

Still there is alot of fun to be had here 🙂

Beautiful Hi-Res images of the Lego Friends 2012 Summer Sets are starting to appear.

It is safe to say that the Lego Friends sets have been a huge success for Lego, despite (or perhaps partly because of) the controversy that surrounded the new theme’s release in January.

The next wave of Lego Friends sets will come out in July – August and they look absolutely fantastic. I have no doubt that the success of the theme will continue and perhaps even gather new fans.

Personal favorites include the camper van, riding camp and flight school 🙂
