The Lego Friends Brickmaster Kit released by Dorling Kindersley and Lego in 2012, contains instructions for 18 Friends related sets as well as 100 colorful bricks and two friends Lego figures (one of whom is exclusive to the kit!).
At RRP US $29.99 (less if you order through Amazon) the book is recommended for ages 5+ (because of the small Lego pieces) and will be released on October 1st.
The Brickmaster books are a wonderful way for kids to expand their experience of Lego, whether they are fans already and have a huge collection of pieces or are new to the medium.
The book itself is 48 pages which might not seem like much but there is so much potential packed into the kit that the relatively small page count doesn’t matter.
With bricks included, kids spend hours working at building all the models from the included instructions and then following the story, which in this case centres around a treasure hunt in Heartlake City (the home of the Lego Friends theme).
