Lego Ideas Book – Available For Pre-Order

Lego Ideas BookThe latest Lego Dorling Kindersley book is available for pre-order from online booksellers such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon. The Lego Ideas book will be released on September 19th 2011 and continues DK’s long and rewarding association with Lego.

Lego Ideas Book

Unlike other Lego books DK has released the Lego Ideas Book focuses more on encouraging a child’s own creations, rather than simply displaying the official range of Lego sets on the market.

Much like the Lego Master Builder Academy, Lego seems to be recognizing that original creations form a large part of the reason many parents choose to purchase Lego for their children over other toys.

Most parents want to encourage imagination and creativity in their children and know that by choosing Lego they will have a tool to create whatever their minds envisage. They also want to encourage their kids to grow and discover new ways to make more sophisticated models.

The Lego Ideas Book is 200 pages of awesome ideas and I have pre-ordered my copy (well my son’s copy) already :0)

The hardcover book is offered at a significant discount at the two major online book stores so you should be able to pick it up for around $16 plus shipping.
(Check out the prices for both here: Barnes & Noble and Amazon)

Here is a description of the book and a few inside photos.
