The Lego Imperial Shuttle set 10212 (one of the best Lego sets ever), based on the Star Wars Imperial Shuttle (one of the best Star Wars vehicle designs ever) is on sale at Amazon Italy for €186.26, a saving of 25% off the regular price.

For those outside of Europe you receive a further discount as VAT is removed.

However…It’s the shipping that will make or break this deal for you…

By itself the shipping cost overseas will set you back €75 – Eek!

However if you purchase a number of sets this amount is reduced per set.

If for example you order two Imperial Shuttles (one for you and one for a friend) + 2 Medieval Market Village sets which are also on sale, the shipping will be €140 total.

So that evens out to about €35 for shipping per set, and you get two each of the best sets to come out in the last few years, one for you and one for a friend or to sell later.

Given these are big sets and the postage is super fast (less time in transit and less chance for damage to occur) then the deal starts to look better. In Australia the Imperial Shuttle retails for over $400 and the Medieval Market Village sits at around $150-so it’s a good deal for me.
