The Lego Minifigures Series 5 are starting to show up in stores around the world, even though the official release date was set for sometime in September.

If you are unfamiliar with the collectable figures, Lego has released 4 series so far.

Each series has a set of figures, offerred for sale separately in a concealed bag so you don’t know which figure you are buying – thankfully the figures are inexpensive ($2.99 US).

The figures are an affordable way for kids to enhance their existing Lego, by adding distinctive new characters without having to buy whole new sets.

Each of the 16 figures is unique to the series and has never been made by Lego before. The figures can also come with accessories to suit their particular character.

If you collect the minifigures the Mini Collector App is a great way to keep track of your collection and help determine what is inside the sealed packs.

PLEASE NOTE: Only 1 of 16 individual minifigures in each mystery bag. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for specific minifigures and some minifigures may be more difficult to find than others. You may receive 2 or more of the same minifigures trade with your friends to collect them all!
